The real estate agent you’re talking to will tell you, “It’s very hard to sell a home in Germany,” and that “there is so much competition.”
But it’s a bit of a lie.
For one thing, the country is so big and so saturated with potential buyers that it’s impossible to find a home that doesn’t have a lot of potential buyers.
The median house price in Germany is around $6.6 million.
That’s just a fraction of the world’s average house price, which is around more than $50 million.
But it does put Germany into perspective.
Germany’s median house cost of $8,828,000, according to data from the Center for Economic and Policy Research.
So Germany is a great country to be a home buyer, if you’re willing to invest a lot in your home.
